Zaidatul Husniah Zulkifli takes the SEA Women’s 100m Lead for 2022
Zulkifli clocks the fastest time in South East for 2022 Womens 100m at KL Allcomers Zaidatul Husniah Zulkifli timed 11.62 to win the Kuala Lumpur Allcomers (March 26).
The time was just .03 seconds away from Zulkifli’s personal best which was run in 2018. The now 29-year-old Zulkifli was the Bronze medalist in 100 and 200 at the 2017 SEA Games in Kuala Lumpur.
The Performance passed the 11.64 leading times of Fil-American Kyla Richardson.
The last SEA Games was won in 11.54 by Le Tu Chinh (Vietnam) narrowly from Kristina Knott 11.55 (Philippines).
Knott who is yet to run this year over 100m clocked 7.39 in the 60m which puts her in the 11.40 range.
Knott clocked 11.27 in 2020 which was the fastest time in the qualifying period for the SEA Games she also clocked 11.28 in 2021.
It was a good quality race and all 6 of the Women in the Final at Kuala Lumpur made the South East Asian Ranking list for 2022.
