Visitación Badana Ribagorda
Visitación Badana (born 2 July 1937) was a Filipino athlete.
Badana is one of a select few groups of Filipino Women to win an Asian Games gold medal in Athletics. This came in 1958 when at age 21 she won the Women’s Long Jump Gold with a leap of 5.64 meters Dunia Internasional (1958). Badana was part of the powerhouse Cebu Institute of Technology team under Fructosa Soriano.
Joined the PRISAA in 1960.
Visitación Badana went to the 1960 Olympics in Rome finishing 24th of 30 athletes in the Women’s Long Jump with a leap of 5.59 meters.
Visitación Badana held the National Record, which was broken in 1965 by Lydia Rosalada (later Lydia Silva Netto) at 5.70m. And then surpassed in 1970 by Heptathlete Lolita Lagrosas at the Pre-UAAP meet who leapt 5.71m.

Si Visitación Badana (ipinanganak noong Hulyo 1937) ay isang atletang Pilipino.
Isa siya sa piling ilang pangkat ng mga Kababaeng Pilipino na nagwagi ng gintong medalya sa Asian Games sa Athletics. Dumating ito noong 1958 nang sa edad na 21 ay nanalo siya ng Women’s Long Jump Gold na may tumalon na 5.64 metro. Si Badana ay bahagi ng koponan ng powerhouse Cebu Institute of Technology sa ilalim ni Fructosa Soriano.
Sumali sa PRISAA noong 1960. Nagpunta siya sa 1960 Olympics sa Roma na nagtapos sa ika-24 ng 30 na mga atleta sa Long Jump ng Kababaihan na may tumalon na 5.59 metro.
Gaganapin ng Visitacion ang Pambansang Rekord, ito ay nasira noong 1965 ni Lydia Rosalada (kalaunan ay Lydia Silva Netto) 5.70m. At pagkatapos ay nalampasan noong 1970 ni Heptathlete Lolita Lagrosas sa Pre-UAAP meet na tumalon sa 5.71m. Napahahalagahan ang anumang mga larawan ng Ribagorda. Coaches Sprints, Middle and Jump events he is Level 3 Athletics Australia Coaching Certification in Sprints and Hurdles.
