The World Cadet and Junior Karate Championships were held in Guadalajara, Spain.
Medal Standings Final as of 10th November 2013. Consequently, The Philippines did not win any medals at this event for athletes who were 21 and under in age.
Furthermore, none of the Iranian-based athletes participated in the World U21 Championships in Spain.
In addition, the Filipino athletes here were significantly younger and less experienced than their counterparts training in Tehran, Iran.
While the best performer for the Philippines at this meet was JC Cullera who made the top 16 in the Male Kata U21.
In conclusion of the Asian countries participating in the medal standings Japan finished 2nd, Iran 11th, Chinese Taipei 20th, Kazakhstan 23rd, and Saudi Arabia 28th.
