Guillermo E Torres Track and Field

No more than 100 Student-athletes from public elementary and high schools compete in different categories—50m dash, 100m dash, 200m dash, 400m dash, 4×100 relay, long jump, and high jump in the one-day GETorres Invitational Track competition at the University of Mindanao Track Oval at Matina campus Saturday, March 4.

University of Mindanao president Guillermo Torres Jr., currently the national executive vice president and regional director of the Philippine Amateur Track and Field Association (PATAFA)-Mindanao, is joined by Councilor Pilar Braga, Kenneth Sai, president Davao Track and Field Association, Mikee Aportadera, head City Sports Division, Edgardo Castillo, SVP University of Mindanao, Dione Ferolino, sports coordinator of the Department of Education, and guests grace the opening.
