2023 Region 1 PRISAA Athletics
Region 1 PRISAA Athletics will be held on March 9-10 at Don Narcisco Ramos Oval, Lingayen, Province of Pangasinan.
10 Athletes from the PinoyAthletics Elite Group will be representing the 27-strong San Carlos Team. Also participating will be Dagupan, La Union, and Pangasinan 1. The Pinoyathletics Group who are students at VMUF is particularly strong in the Male sprints as they have been dominating the National Collegiate and High School scene the last few years, winning 14 individual medals in Mens Sprints in various national events.
Since there are only 2 per team and only 4 teams all sprint events will be straight finals.
The Top athletes in each event will be selected to represent Region 1 at the National PRISAA to be held in July in Zamboanga City.

Andrew was elected Vice President of the Association of Track and Field Statisticians in 2020 after being a member for 7 years.
He has worked as a PSC Consultant and Research Assistant from 2013-2015, Consultant, and Sprint Coach at Zamboanga Sports Academy from 2015-2017. And Currently is Consultant Coach with VMUF 2021-
Current editor and chief of Pinoyathletics.info, and has recently done consultancy work for Ayala Corp evaluating the Track and Field Program.
Coaches Sprints, Middle and Jump events he is Level 3 Athletics Australia Coaching Certification in Sprints and Hurdles.
Currently working towards a Masters Degree in Education.
