Evalyn Strikes back at the 2023 PATAFA Sea Games Trials after being dropped by PATAFA

After being removed by PATAFA from the national team. Despite being a SEA Games Bronze Medalist. Evalyn Palabrica has sent a strong message about her performance. Evalyn was the 2021 SEA Games Bronze medalist in the Javelin with 49.07m. Was dropped from the national team at the end of last year’s evaluation.
However, Evalyn has now come out with a 50.26m!!! throw at the PATAFA 2023 SEA Games Trials in Pasig, Phil Sports.
Which breaks the SEA Bronze Standard 49.07m. Hopefully, she will be duly compensated for the months of allowances she has missed as a PSC Priority program medalist athlete if not by the PSC but by the National Federation.

Well Done Feller Dee Ramos of VMUF and Pinoy Athletics Elite Program winning the 200m at the PATAFA SEA Games Trials. A lot of things we need to take back from this experience and work on. Thank you for your support and faith in the program/process, coach Dante Camacho (Sports Director VMUF).

Ramirez is the Top Man

Former National athlete Frederick Ramirez coached by Jojo Posadas (national head coach) and Bato Abangan (former national junior record holder 200m) took the win at the 2023 PATAFA SEA Games Trials at Phil Sports Pasig in the Mens 400m in 47.54. Mr. Ramirez who was a 2019 SEA Games Bronze medalist in 4×400, was removed from the national team at the end of 2022.
Ramirez finished 4th in the 2022 SEA Games just missing the bronze by milliseconds. Frederick who is a student-athlete representing JRU has a personal best of 47.42 sets last year. His time of 47.54 was also just outside the SEA Games bronze mark of 47.46. But he will run again at the Philippines National Open March 22-26.
