2018  Weekly Relays Finals Full Results
  • Evelou Abutas, 22, won the 5000m in 15:52 from FEU. Abutas PB is 15.37 from 2016.
  • A lot of athletes from UST and UP are not present.
  • No National athletes showed up in the Men’s and Women’s 100m Dash.

  • Mervin Guarte 3.54.63 wins the 1500m
  • Joyme Sequita wins 400 47 and Galleon 48, National Athletes No Show.
  • Razbiel Fabellon wins the High Jump in 1.70m for Adamson beating the FEU Girls.
  • Lobos wins the Youth Girls 100m in 12.4 ht (unofficial) Palaro Record Holder Samantha Limos is a No Show

2018  Weekly Relays  Mens 100m Dash

Feberoy Kasi FEU, the Palarong Pambansa record Holder (10.75, 2016), clocked a quick 10.93 (video software time) to show he continues to regain his speed after a hamstring injury after his palaro record.

Feberoy took advantage, as noted, of no National athletes joining the final.

The 19-year-old was 2-3 strides ahead; he improves each time he races and establishes himself as a top man at the UAAP level.

**Please note 10.93 is a fairly accurate conversion as 10.71 ht + .24 = 10.95.

2018 Weekly Relays  Women’s 100m Dash A Final – Heat 2

Kimberly Zulueta, the UAAP Silver medalist, clocked 12.25 (unofficial video software), but time is taken off 2 videos from the set position.

Who is now back training with Ateneo. It looks like she will break her PB at the UAAP.

Her PB was 12.22 from 2017 UAAP; Zulueta could not break her PB in the 100m despite several international outings last year.

Having gone from 12.22 to 12.23 in the last year. Zulueta had the fastest time in the girls with 6 runners in Heat.

Junior Mens Discus

Delina broke the National Junior record a few weeks ago

Also, in the 2018 Weekly Relays on October 21.

Jomar Udtohan, a member of the national team formally of San Sebastian now at UP. Only narrowly held off the fast-finishing Russell Galleon, the Philippines NCAA 200m Record Holder in the Men’s A-Race.

Udtohan is coming off an injury, only just held on for dear life to hold off the fast-closing Galleon.

Karl Aquino of NU took the Gold in the Triple Jump with a NEW PB of 15.11m, which was #5 on the Filipino all-time Junior list. Teammate Aldrin Custodio took 2nd behind him in a new PB of 14.22m. 

UP Masano, who has a PB of 1:52 at nationals, won the Men’s 800 in 1:57.

While in the Junior Women’s newbie Abegail Manzano of NU clocked a PB of 2:18 to hold off two athletes representing the Philippines at the age-grade level, both Marisol Amarga of UP 2:19 and Anjelica De Josef of FEU 2:25.

While Riza Jane Valiente of UP timed 1:04.09 in the Girls 400, well behind her Personal best of 1:01.52 (silver at the ASEAN School Games) and far from the qualifying for SEA Games.

Considering 4 women in South East Asia have run under 1 minute this year with Quach Thi Lan of Vietnam leading with 55.30 (SEA Record, at the Asian Games).
