Team List

Below is the Team list of athletes the PATAFA (Philippine Athletics Track and Field Association) is sending to the Vietnam National Open July 26-27. This is for preparation for the Asian Games.

Recently the PATAFA pushed for inclusion, and the POC  approved 5 additional athletes for the Asian Games. Kristina Knott (100, 200), Francis Medina (400H), Clinton Kingsley Bautista (110 Hurdles and 4×100), Janry Ubas (Long Jump), and Anfernee Lopena (100, 4×100).

Performance comparison listed here for the 8 original athletes (to be updated). Bringing the total athletes sent in Athletics to 13.

The athletes will be funded by PATAFA, a private sponsor of the Ayala to the Asian Games. In light of the Volleyball also sending a team via Private Sponsors. The team arrived in Vietnam yesterday.

The Asian Games is scheduled to start on August 24.

Vietnam Open will serve as a tune-up or gauge for the athletes, with all the Asian Games bound athletes present at the meet except Obiena, Tabal, Beram.
