2017 ASEAN School Games Athletics FULL RESULTS
Team Lists
THE DEPED has released to the Media the list of names but not the list of events for the 7th ASEAN School Games. 28 Athletes have been named for the ASEAN School Games 2017 in Singapore. The meet will be held in Singapore on July 15-18. 2 Days from now.
Pinoyathletics.info only just received this list yesterday via a mutual friend. As the list was only available at this point, so I was not able to make suggestions. This list is as of July 1.
The privilege of selecting the team goes to the winning coach. In this case, the winning Palarong Pambansa in the Secondary Boys. Please note and did not include the winning coach in the Secondary Girls in the lineup also. The coach of the Girls here is also from the Calabarzon team.
Pinoyathletics.info will be covering this event.
Oddly enough, the following athlete’s did not include the following athletes
Marcelo, who won 2 Golds in the Palarong Pambansa, in the Secondary Boys 3000m Steeples, and 5000m (James Darrell Orduna, who he beat in both events and was Palaro Silver medalist, was included)
- Kasandra Alcantra won 2 Golds in Palarong Pambansa in the Secondary Girls Discus and Shotput.
- Alexie Caimoso Gold in the Palarong Pambansa Secondary Girls High Jump (Banatao, who got silver, was selected)
- Sheila Talja Gold in the Palarong Pambansa Secondary Girls Triple Jump (Gatinga, who was silver in Triple and silver in Long, was selected)
- Berlyn Bejoy Silver in Palarong Pambansa Secondary Girls 400 Hurdles, but also performed well at the SEA Youth with a Silver in the 400 Hurdles and a 2.16 Silver in the 800
- One athlete in the team is sent to Children of Asia, SEA Youth, and has no individual medal at Palaro and Batang Pinoy included in the ASEAN School Games lineup.
