2014 Mindanao Blue Knights : ADDU Monthly Track Meet First Season Ends With a Bang
The monthly meet organizers headed by Coach Airnel T. Abarra, Mark Samante, and Noli Ayo. Aare looking forward to the second season of the monthly track meet, which will be open in June 2015 with Philippine Long Jump Icon Elma Muros-Posadas as a guest of honor.
In addition, during the season break, ADDU Athletics is planning to stage a National Technical Officials Workshop in April 2015.
Through this, the Athletics program’s sustainability in Davao can be assured. And will provide greater experience and new heights for the Athletes of Mindanao as a whole.

For the first time, Ateneo de Davao University Athletics Office. In cooperation with Davao City Sports Development Division. Organized the Davao City-Team Blue Knights Monthly Track Meet at the Fr. Martinez Sports Center Track Oval, Ateneo de Davao University Matina Campus. We did first and second leg last November 29 and December 06.
Teams from different public and private schools, including freelance runners in Davao City and Davao Region as a whole. Including Digos and Tagum Cities, joined the meet. Set to raise the program of Athletics by providing a regular and sustainable meet that will set as a training program for promising athletes in Davao.
Powered by Scotch, Post-it by 3M, the meet is done once a month, leading to the grand finals on February 07, 2015. So far, aside from Manila, Davao is the only city in the Philippines with a continuous athletic event.

This is the statement of Asia’s Sprint Queen Lydia de Vega Mercado in her conversation with ADDU University Athletics Director Noli Ayo. During his meeting with the Filipino track champion in Singapore.
With that belief. The ADDU Athletics team and Davao City Sports Development Division. Are passionately pursuing this meet and looking forward to its second season in mid-2015.

Andrew was elected Vice President of the Association of Track and Field Statisticians in 2020 after being a member for 7 years.
He has worked as a PSC Consultant and Research Assistant from 2013-2015, Consultant, and Sprint Coach at Zamboanga Sports Academy from 2015-2017. And Currently is Consultant Coach with VMUF 2021-
Current editor and chief of Pinoyathletics.info, and has recently done consultancy work for Ayala Corp evaluating the Track and Field Program.
Coaches Sprints, Middle and Jump events he is Level 3 Athletics Australia Coaching Certification in Sprints and Hurdles.
Currently working towards a Masters Degree in Education.
